exciting eighth - stall no. 8

Saturday, 20 March 2021 (posted on a later date) Ooh-la-la it's March!  And we're proud to announce that Stall 8 was a roaring success 😍 Take a look at our fantabulous display!  This time, due to several vacancies, we were actually able to move up closer to the entrance of the market - space no. 3 (a big jump from #15 at the baaaaaaack of the room!) - which was a big win-win for us! Our neighbouring stallholder, a lovely lady selling jewelry, told us in the morning that February and March were typically the slowest months of the year for business. This helped us to understand why last month's sales didn't quite match the flow. However, we still looked forward to the day with hopeful hearts.  Our positivity (and prayers) paid off - we were bombarded with business from start till end. It was a wonderful day and we were able to meet so many awesome people (and gathered suggestions about our products too!). We were also able to witness a large organized protest going past ...

rey - star wars series #1

  I'm preee-ty late to join the crowd, but I've just finished all the Star Wars movies!    And lost no time in grabbing my hook alight with a new inspiration... So here's the first of the lot! Say hi to Rey! She was really fun to make and super easy for beginners. I only used one working stitch (single crochet) along with a few chains and slip stitches at intervals. My favourite bit was her little bag. She looks so cute from the front, as if she is off to save the galaxy!
