LIFE UPDATE - November 2021

Dear all,

The last time I posted here was aaaaaaaaaaages ago! We're currently up to stall #17 (happening this weekend at the Lesmurdie Twilight Fair) so there's definitely been a huge jump between my last update and today - July to November. What an eventful few months it's been. And can you believe it's 53 days till Christmas???

So, I'm writing this post for a few reasons -

1) I reeeeally feel bad that I haven't posted in months! I have quite a few faithful readers of this blog who have asked me why I've stopped being active on this page. When I set this blog up it was meant to be a regular sort of "journal" to document every part of the Little Spools journey. However, with the recent creation of our Insta page, it's just gotten more time consuming to post on the website, Instagram, and the blog every time something comes up. There were a couple of other complications (tech wise) that had to be sorted out too. But that's all done and dusted now and we're back to (hopefully) more regular posting! Sorry to keep you guys waiting!!

2) There have been several new developments in Little Spools, including the expansion of our amigurumi line to now include featured dolls (and whatever other wacko creations I think up). So I'll be writing blog posts to feature some of these changes every now and then just to keep you all posted on the latest! (make sure you subscribe to this blog to make sure you don't miss anything - and hopefully catch some freebies)

3) I think blogging can be a really helpful way to keep track of everything going on in my life - not just crafting, but also other things: eg. something interesting I found out, or maybe a new decision I've made. Plus it also reminds me of the amazing artisan community I'm a part of here in WA - love you guys and shout out to you all!

4) The break from blogging has me up and ready with fresh new ideas for posts - yarn reviews, product recommendations, sob stories, and more! Stay tuned for these exciting new parts of the blog :)

That's all from me now, and as always, thank you for reading and don't hesitate to reach out to me if you've got any questions :D

Ashlyne :)
